How to Play Squaredle Solver

What is Squaredle?

The grid is filled with real words: some read across (horizontal) and some down (vertical). At the start, the letters are mixed up. Your job is to swap letters so that every word is correct.

How do I play?

  1. Pick a grid size: 3×3 (easiest), 5×5, or 7×7.
  2. Click New Game. You'll see a grid with scrambled letters.
  3. Drag a letter and drop it on another letter to swap them.
  4. After each swap, the colors tell you if letters are in the right place (see below).
  5. Fix all words before you run out of moves. When every letter is green, you win!

Moves: 3×3 = 7 moves · 5×5 = 15 moves · 7×7 = 25 moves

What do the colors mean?

W

Green – Correct! This letter is in the right spot for both its row and column.

I

Yellow – This letter belongs in this row or column, but not in this cell. Swap it to the right place.

U

Gray – This letter doesn't belong in this word. Swap it out.

  • Leave green letters alone; they're already correct.
  • Use yellow to find where a letter should go in that row or column.
  • Swap gray letters into a different row or column where they might belong.
